Responsibilities Make an impact.
We are seeking a dedicated candidate to be responsible for parts of our Customer accounts in Italy.
You will work in a key position towards establishing better profitability, deeper relationships and creating mutual value towards our existing customers.
As the Account Manager, you will have the overall responsibility for your customers, including Service Level Agreements.
You will be part of the Account Management South team reporting to our Head of Account Management South and work closely with other departments within Swisslog.
Acting as the bridge between our customers and technical experts in our organization, focusing on delivering solutions with high customer value and according to internal processes.
You will be responsible for the proactive support and further long-term development of your customers in the existing customer base.
You represent Swisslog to support customers in a spirit of partnership and use your network to identify further potential, making it easy for you to build new customer relationships.
You will analyze customer needs and challenges and effectively convert and negotiate their demands and wishes to profitable and feasible offers and agreements.
You will be responsible for the follow-up of offers, negotiations with the customer, execution, contract drafting and reviews until successful signing of the contract.
You will consistently and proactively consult, plan and support modernization and expansion projects within your customer base.
Application Requirements What you need to succeed: A degree or diploma in automation, engineering or other relevant technical area.
Good handling of EDP (MS Office, CRM & ERP systems).
Minimum of a few years of relevant experience working with technical sales, preferably from our intralogistics industry or automation.
Good knowledge of material handling products, preferably with a focus on Hardware, but Software experience is also appreciated.
Experience from working with project-based solutions.
You are fluent in both English and Italian and hold a valid driver's license.
We would consider it meritorious if you also speak Spanish.
The successful candidate has strong communication skills and is confident in dealing with decision-makers.
