About This Role:
The Account Executive grows Forrester's client base in Italy, starting with an installed base and dedicating significant time to prospect accounts.
This role entails meeting a monthly and quarterly quota and retaining clients, building a territory and working in a hybrid new business/account management over time.
Success in this position includes the opportunity to demonstrate Forrester's capabilities and business fit to emerging technology business founders, CEOs and CMOs, and other top-level executives within emerging technology companies in Italy.
**Job Description**:
- Achieve a new business sales quota in the assigned territory.
- Prospect and close appropriate accounts from the assigned territory.
- Pitch to and close appropriate prospects from emerging technology C-suite leaders within emerging technology companies in Italy.
- Produce accurate and timely forecasts.
- Understand the changing business and technology issues and needs that our potential clients face.
- Work with research teams to better understand the Forrester value proposition for prospects.
- Develop a complete understanding of Forrester's full array of product offerings, with an emphasis on business outcomes.
Job Requirements:
- A bachelor's degree.
- A track record of prospecting and selling to technology companies; successful sales to C-level executives, particularly in Italy-emerging technology market.
- History of developing new business, achieving bookings goals, and managing personal sales strategies.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- The ability and willingness to make cold calls and book meetings.
- A team player with strong business acumen; the ability to align client business objectives with Forrester solutions.
- Effective organization and time management skills.
- The ability to travel.
