Account Manager, Media, Entertainment, Gaming and SportsAWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
This role will support our teams working with media, entertainment and gaming (including betting) customers. We are looking for someone with the ability to dive deep into industry trends, who shows bias for action and willingness to get hands-on, and who possesses a blend of sales and technical skills. You must be adept at influencing senior stakeholders and earning the trust of technical and line-of-business teams, as well as influencing within AWS.
Prior experience in the media, entertainment or gaming industries is beneficial but not required. What's more important is strong curiosity and the ability to find solutions to problems quickly, strong analytical ability, and excellent written communication.
