AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) is responsible for driving revenue, adoption, and growth from the largest and fastest growing small- and mid-market accounts to enterprise-level customers including public sector. The AWS Global Support team interacts with leading companies and believes that world-class support is critical to customer success. AWS Support also partners with a global list of customers that are building mission-critical applications on top of AWS services.
As Account Executive you will have the exciting opportunity to help drive the growth and shape the future of an emerging technology and increase adoption and market segment presence of AWS in the Italian Public Sector.
The ideal candidate will possess both a sales/account management and technical background that enables them to drive an engagement at the executive level as well as with software developers and IT architects and have gained experience in the Public Sector in particular with Central Public Administration (PAC). You will be a self-starter who is prepared to develop and execute against a territory coverage plan and consistently deliver results.

Key job responsibilities
Effectively engage C-level business & technical executives within the assigned Customers Leverage executive Customer relationships to build trust with AWS leadership & accelerate strategic enterprise opportunities to ensure customer satisfaction Build/Own the strategic plan for the Customer you own, to drive business growth objectives Articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services Achieve goals and strategic objectives including revenue, pipeline and repeatable solutions Drive Customer strategy using industry vertical solutions, business transformation initiatives and deliver high quality Customer outcomes Work with cross functional teams & Partners to create and execute on strategic business plans, practice development and marketing, to execute achievement against Customers goals Help to drive business growth and expansion in a defined territory Manage numerous Customers concurrently & long-term Accelerate customer adoption & develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts Travel as necessary BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
Significant Account management experience for Enterprise and Public Sector Customers in the IT industry Substantial technology related sales, business development or sales engineering/consulting experience, gained within Enterprise and Public Sector Customers Strong presentation skills and ability to articulate complex concepts to cross-functional audiences BA/BS degree or equivalent experience required Strong verbal and written communications skills; fluent in Italian and English PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Strong knowledge and focus on the Italian State-owned companies A technical background in engineering, computer science, or MIS a plus IaaS/PaaS/SaaS/Cloud experience Business acumen and passion Proven track record of taking ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic environment #J-18808-Ljbffr
