ABOUT THE ROLE JOB TITLE: Account Executive LOCATION: Milan (hybrid 3 days/week) TYPE OF CONTRACT: Fixed term of a year to start with SALARY RANGE: 24-26K Position Overview: WeRoad is seeking an Account Executive to join our dynamic Product Development Team, the engine behind testing and launching new itineraries and innovative projects.
As Account Executive, you will be responsible for pre-tour and live tour operations, ensuring everything is prepared to deliver unique, best-in-class travel experiences for our WeRoaders.
You'll manage and book services in the destination, prepare and upload relevant documentation, and oversee live tour operations related to the product development portfolio.
The ideal candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment, showing speed, adaptability, creativity and accuracy.
He should be comfortable handling pressure and processing continuous, varied inputs, all while maintaining a focus on delivering exceptional experiences.
What you'll do: Book the services of our pioneer tours (hotels, transportation, activities,...) Plan and manage departure dates for itineraries across different markets Work cross-functionally with the sales team, monitor tours and trip fill, and optimize allotments through requesting additional seats and tours Ensure smooth pre-planning of upcoming departures by preparing customer documentation and information (passport, id cards, drivers licenses) Manage confirmation or cancellation of tours with our partners Check claims/expenses, and investigate discrepancies between supplier invoices and budget Live tour issue resolution (issues with customers or supplier that needs action) Ensure information accuracy on all platforms including our website and travel diaries Other tasks that support smooth day to day operations of our products What we're looking for: 1-2 years of experience in a similar role, previous experience as a tour leader would be a plus Strong verbal and written communication skills in English Ability to work some evening and weekend shifts (rotates with the rest of the team) Proven ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously Highly organized with ability to work in a fast paced environment Great attention to detail Quick and independent learner Computer literate, can use GoogleSheets A sharp mind, able to quickly understand and adapt to new challenges Resilience and resourcefulness: you don't stop at the first obstacle and keep pushing for the best solution Creative thinking: you naturally think outside the box and find innovative ways to tackle problems You will love working at WeRoad if: You are ambitious, want to build and be part of something huge, growing faster than you thought possible You love travel and want to join a young, smart, and fun team of people who love it, too You prefer adventure instead of daily routine and love working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment You are an entrepreneur at heart and a self-starter and aren't afraid to take on a lot of responsibility, right from the start You welcome feedback and see mistakes as stepping stones to success SELECT What we can offer : A free WeRoad trip every year to the destination of your choice.
