NABA, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti, is an education Academy focusing on arts and design: it is the largest private Academy in Italy, and the first one to have been recognized by the Italian Ministry of University and Research (MUR), back in 1980. NABA is currently seeking motivated and detail-oriented individuals for the role of
Academic Coordination Specialist to join our academic coordination team on a maternity leave replacement basis.
The successful candidate will join the Academic Coordination Unit located in Milan and will report directly to the Academic Coordination Supervisor. The role involves providing support to students throughout their academic journey to maximize their satisfaction levels. The candidate will ensure the monitoring of educational activities in compliance with procedures and best practices, offer comprehensive operational support to Course Leaders and lecturers, and guarantee the proper execution of activities for all assigned courses.
The selected candidate will carry out the following activities: Take care of student welcoming activities and the elaboration of "welcome to NABA" and "Students' Vademecum" documents.Ensure help desk activities to support students (problem-solving, information, operational support for the preparation and management of forms, elaboration of study plans, exams).In collaboration with the Supervisor and with executive autonomy, provide support to faculty of the related courses and programs (lecturers, course leaders) with regards to any need related to the development of didactic activities such as timetables and planning of trips.Assure the correct update of NABAgest and collection of data and documentation regarding external faculty contracts, in collaboration with HR, in compliance with guidelines defined by the Dean and HR dept.Actively work on the elaboration of courses timetables in collaboration with Registration Online Services unit and Course Leaders, as well as the registration of all courses in NABAgest.Ensure "student transfer" services.Ensure activities as monitoring and analysing students attendance, in order to prevent dropouts and to assess online records (faculty attendances and absences).Support Course Leaders in decisions concerning exemption from mandatory attendance.Ensure the organization of further surveys (e.g. NPS) in order to monitor student satisfaction levels, the academic processes and the compliance with the requirements of MUR.Identify purchase requests for equipment and office supplies.Ensure participation in committees (student transfers, articulation).Manage the organization of Graduation Ceremonies. Requirements: Good knowledge of Microsoft Suite.BA/MA in Languages, in Literature, History, Philosophy, or other humanities disciplines.B2/C1 level of English.Customer-oriented, highly motivated, precise, with excellent interpersonal skills.The ideal candidate has previous experience of 3/4 years in a similar role.He/She is a flexible and energetic team player with good interpersonal skills to interact with the various internal work areas, students, teachers, and course leaders.
