Learn more at www.averydennison.com.Avery Dennison is an equal opportunity employer.Please let us know if we can support you with reasonable accommodations throughout the application process by contacting our team via ****** DescriptionWe are looking for a maintenance technician in our distribution center of Cadorago!In this critical and very operational role, you will:Perform regular maintenance checks on manufacturing equipment, including pneumatic, hydraulic, and mechanical components, to ensure optimal functionality.Locate and diagnose failures, replace defective components, and perform basic troubleshooting using standard equipment, detailed drawings, diagrams, sketches, specifications, prints, manuals, and verbal and/or written instructions.Install functional and structural parts in devices or equipment.Prepare new machines and production equipment for operation.Follow a strict preventive maintenance schedule to lessen exposure to downtime-related repairs and maintenance, including but not limited to:Pneumatic systems (e.g., air compressors, valves) to prevent leaks and ensure consistent performance.Hydraulic systems (e.g., pumps, cylinders) to prevent fluid leaks and maintain proper pressure levels.Mechanical components (e.g., gears, bearings) by lubricating, adjusting, or replacing parts to prevent breakdowns and ensure smooth operation.Keep detailed records of maintenance activities, including inspections and repairs, for compliance and reference.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe shop and production floor.Ensure compliance with safety regulations while performing maintenance tasks.Provide training on basic maintenance procedures to other staff members.Stay updated on advancements in manufacturing equipment technologies and maintenance practices.QualificationsLet's talk about you!You have a Bachelor's Degree in a related field required, or equivalent experience.You possess between 0-2 years of previous experience in maintenance, along with demonstrated expertise in mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic repairs and maintenance.
Preferably with slitting and winding production equipment.In addition, you have:Certifications in specialty areas such as machinery operation and maintenance are required.
