Standard scope of this role includes:
manage maintenance contracts.
perform inventory and warehouse management.
manage the software catalogue and licenses.
monitor implementation methodologies.
oversee and implement improvement activities.
perform incident and problem management.
report on key performance indicators (KPIs).
monitor change management, specifically monitoring the updating of software versions, patches, security and remote client management (RCM).
perform demand management in the form of analysis and evaluation of requests, installation, move, add, change, delete (IMACDs) from both a software and hardware perspective.
perform catalogue management from both an internal and external perspective.
manage standard tickets in the incident management tool.
develop IMACDs flows associated with the demand management tool.
Who
The OSS Team is looking for an professional with the following:
Pre-Requisites & Experience
In order to carry out the lifecycle management tasks outlined above should have proven experience in the following fields:
working with SCCM (ConficMgr 2007) and generating reports.
using MS-Excel, MS Access and MS Visio, A user-level Lotus Notes.
working with inventory DB computers.
managing and coordinating end user equipment IMACDs.
using tools such as Trouble Ticket (CISM-Remedy).
planning and coordinating technical groups.
ideally they will hold certifications in the following disciplines - ITIL Foundation Certification, Knowledge Tool Demand Management (-SPS), Lotus Notes.
