Job Overview:We are seeking a talented BI Power Engineer with expertise in Microsoft Power BI and related BI tools. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of data modeling, data integration, and visualization. This role will be instrumental in designing and implementing innovative BI solutions to meet diverse client needs across multiple industries.
Key Responsibilities:Develop, Design, and Deploy BI Solutions: Create and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and data models, ensuring they are optimized for performance and meet business requirements.Data Transformation and Integration: Use Power Query, DAX, and other tools to transform and model data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and relevance.Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with business analysts, data engineers, and clients to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.Continuous Improvement: Optimize and maintain existing Power BI reports and datasets, enhancing user experience and data processing efficiency.Client Training and Support: Provide training and support to clients on using Power BI reports and dashboards effectively, ensuring user empowerment.Troubleshooting and Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve data discrepancies or issues, ensuring data integrity and reliability.Documentation: Maintain documentation for developed solutions, including data flows, data models, and dashboards.Required Skills and Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Analytics, or a related field.3+ years of experience in BI development, data analysis, and Power BI solution delivery.Expertise in Power BI: Strong proficiency with Power BI, Power Query, and DAX, along with a good understanding of data visualization best practices.Proficiency in Data Modeling: Experience with dimensional and relational data modeling, ETL processes, and data warehousing.SQL Proficiency: Skilled in SQL for data querying, manipulation, and analysis.Strong Communication Skills: Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and clients.Analytical Mindset: Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights.Client-Focused: Previous experience in a consulting or client-facing role is a plus, with the ability to manage client expectations and deliver high-quality solutions.
