We are looking for a talented, driven, and overachieving individual to join our dedicated start-up team. In this role, you will have the exciting opportunity to contribute to the advancement of our cutting-edge geometry generation solutions. Your primary responsibility will be to set up 3D machine learning models and train them, making crucial decisions about data collection and labeling. Additionally, you will play a vital role in designing novel machine learning algorithms to tackle real-world problems in the high volume manufacturing industry.
In this role, you will … Set up from the ground up 3D machine learning models, including design and training, while making autonomous decisions about data collection and labeling. Design novel machine learning algorithms to solve real-world problems. Build data pre- and post-processing pipelines for the machine learning models. Optimize test-time ML pipelines for speed and memory usage. Build processes to validate performance and robustness of the test-time ML pipelines. In this role, you'll need … A background in Machine Learning / Computer Graphics. 4+ years of relevant work experience. Extensive experience in Julia and Rust. Experience using geometric processing libraries such as openvdb, trimesh, opengl, cgal. The ability to work on cutting-edge research projects while having a product mindset. Knowledge about the most common neural network architectures such as AE, VAE, MLP, CNN, transformer. Experience in bringing ML models to production (MLOps). Some knowledge about 3D / geometric machine learning architectures. Some knowledge about generative AI. Nice to have … Some experience with C/C++. Some experience with ML frameworks, such as PyTorch, Flux.jl, etc. Some experience with parallel computing / code optimization. Some experience developing mathematical optimization algorithms. Some experience in cloud computing / deployment including AWS, Docker, Apptainer. Some knowledge of Italian. Job Type: Temporary
