Digital Bros Game Academy are on the lookout for a 3D Game Art Core trainer!
They are based in Milan, Italy and provide training for aspiring developers who want to begin a career in the video games industry.

They are currently searching for a 3D Game Artist Core Trainer to join the DBGA Online Blended team to spearhead the creation and the teaching of an online blended training course for aspiring 3D artists.
The objective of DBGA Online Blended is to close the gap between fully independent online learning and the traditional classroom setting by embracing self-directed learning with live streaming lectures, mentoring and project work to give aspiring game artists flexibility and personalisation of their learning path, while helping them to acquire the job ready skills they will need to enter the industry.
**For this role, you'll need...**
- At least 4-5 years of experience working in the video game industry as a 3D Game Artist
- Familiarity with Game Art 3D modelling pipeline and processes
- Fluency with Unreal Engine, Maya, Zbrush, Substance Painter and Substance Designer
- To be an effective Environment Modeller and Character Modeller, organic and hard surface
- Have strong artistic sense and technical problem solving abilities
- Knowledge Maya, Blender, Photoshop, Topogun, Quixel Suite, Zbrush, Marmoset Toolbag, Substance Painter, xNormal (or similar), Syncsketch (or similar)
- Working knowledge of rigging and animation
- Specialisation of Unity and Unreal
- To be a Native English or bilingual speaker with excellent communication and writing skills
**As a 3D Game Art Core Trainer, you will...**
- Define the appropriate job ready skill set needed for students and a training program that is industry relevant
- Design course materials and documents such as lectures, demos, tasks and projects
- Act as the principal trainer for the course and be available to hold live streaming lectures and mentoring sessions
- Support and coach learners using learning technologies to help them acquire the necessary skills they will need to enter the industry
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs and leaning outcomes
- Work closely with instructional designer and the graphics and motion designer to create relevant and fir for purpose training materials and activities
- Liaise with the program manager and the learning management system administrator to ensure a positive and engaging learning experience for students
- Develop peer networks to keep abreast of current thinking
- Maintain appropriate records of learner development and resource allocation
