2Nd Engineer

Burgess recruitment is currently seeking a Temp 2nd Engineer for a 70m+ yacht.
We are currently seeking an experienced 2nd Engineer to join a 70m+ yacht on a temporary contract. The yacht has just arrived in the shipyard, looking for an additional crew member to help with the increased workload during the yard period and assist with the Atlantic crossing from Ancona to Antigua.
Responsibilities Provide engineering support during the shipyard period in Ancona. Assist in managing engineering operations and maintenance tasks. Ensure the safe and smooth operation of the vessel during the Atlantic crossing. Perform routine checks, system maintenance, and troubleshooting as necessary. Qualifications & Experience Hands-on engineering experience is essential. Yachting experience preferred but not mandatory. Must be familiar with engine room operations and be comfortable working in a dynamic environment. CoC required - 2nd Engineer Unlimited or SV 2nd. Must be able to enter into Antigua. Start date: ASAP
End Date: 2-4 December 2024 (6 weeks aprox.)
Joining Location: Ancona, Italy
Drop off Location: Antigua
Salary: DOE
