The company is seeking an experienced Network & Broadcast System Engineer to maintain and optimize their Broadcasting and Network systems.

Responsibilities: Design, implement, administer, monitor, sustain, and support broadcast technology that employs a broad variety of hardware, software, applications, and operating systems.
Integrate media over IP workflows, specifically deploying SMPTE 2110 audio/video flows in a managed IT ecosystem.
Create and maintain detailed documentation related to broadcast and IT system design, specifications, drawings (AutoCAD), service records, operations manuals, etc.
Participate as a member of the support team, responding to escalations, system outages, malfunctions, and conducting diagnostic testing, repair, and replacement activities.
Work with security team members to identify, monitor, and mitigate potential cybersecurity risks and vulnerabilities, and install patches.
Skills/Must have: Completion of a university degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
Proficient with Office 365 and AutoCAD.
3+ years' experience in designing and supporting M&E technical systems.
2 years' experience providing end-user technical support in a customer-first environment.
2 years' hands-on experience configuring, managing, and supporting network switch infrastructure in a live media production environment.
Arista experience preferred.
Familiarity with broadcast standard video formats including high-definition, UHD, and HDR video systems, deployed using SDI and SMPTE 2110-20/-22 IP transport.
Experience with other streaming media network protocols is a plus.
Familiarity with networked audio systems and transport protocols including 2110-30, AES-67, Ravenna, and Dante.
Ability to design and modify network topologies to facilitate efficient routing, including multicast and unicast flows.
Proficient in advanced routing protocols and techniques, including OSPF, BGP, and EIGRP, to optimize network performance and reliability.
In-depth expertise in MCAST routing, understanding various multicast protocols such as PIM, IGMP, and DVMRP, and their applications in network environments.
Familiarity with Ansible for automation and orchestration, Arista CloudVision, and Arista Media Control Service (MCS) is an asset.
