Visual Inspection Operator

The is responsible for operating, troubleshooting, and assisting with equipment setup/startup. You will also assist with leading the flow of a VI line, GMP documentation, in process troubleshooting, breakdown investigations, and visual inspection activities.·Observe mechanical equipment in operation and follow good troubleshooting practices to optimize performance·Operate, recognize, and remedy quality problems, and perform changeovers and cleanups as required.·fill out departmental documentation correctly·Perform VI line operation, including operating/monitoring equipment, inspection, and if needed manual visual inspection of vials.·Assist in Line Clearances between batches, follow cleanup sheet directions, follow verbal orders or requests from group leader/supervisor, and perform other duties as required·Participate in PPI (Practical Process Improvements), Lean and Continuous Improvement activities including 5S activities.·Work with Supervisor, Unit Coordinator, & Mechanics to ensure that quality, waste and efficiency are meeting requirements.·Complete improvement activities on quality and work process efficiency.·Follow quality standards in accordance with company policy.How will you get here?·Experienced working in a related manufacturing line.·Basic knowledge and experience using manufacturing equipment & mechanical proficiency·Communicate effectively·Ability to read work instructions, and procedure manuals/diagrams·Ability to work well with minimal supervision.·Experience in pharmaceutical production and packaging preferred.·Experience in Visual inspection activities
