The application of proprietary methods and technologies, based on FOG (Fiber Optic Gyroscope) and MEMS (Micro Electro-Mechanical Systems) technology, enables the company to best meet the specific needs of its customers.Founded as a start-up in 2012 in Italy and recognised as an innovative SME in 2017, Civitanavi today is a listed company on Euronext Milan (ticker: CNS) and it is presented as a benchmark in the global competitive scenario.Job descriptionSystem Safety, Reliability and Maintainability Engineer will ensure that the INS products will be developed, designed, produced, and supported according to the state-of-art and applicable safety standards associated with airworthiness regulations.He/She will be responsible for analyzing candidate designs products developed in terms of verification and satisfaction of reliability and maintainability objectives.Duties and responsabilitiesOrganize, perform activities, and produce documentation for the "Safety Assessment" of inertial systems for civil and military aircraft according to ARP4761 (FHA, PSSA, SSA, Fault Trees, Quantitative and Qualitative Assessments).Support the system design team to ensure compliance with safety objectives.Specify and support the validation and verification activities of system requirements, according to ARP4754A.Perform and manage the Safety Assessment on safety-related derived requirements defined during the development life cycle.Be the responsible point-of-contact for the coordination and management of safety activities with external suppliers, including document review and acceptance.Generate, manage, and verify Reliability documentation (FMES, FMEA, FMECA).Generate, manage, and verify Maintainability documentation.Skills and experienceRequiredUniversity degree in Electronics, Aerospace Engineering, Physics or equivalent.Knowledge and experience in applying the guidelines ARP4761 and ARP4754A.Systems Engineering/V Model in Aviation or other complex product development industry processes.Knowledge on reliability software packages.Knowledge of main reliability standards (MIL-STD-785B, MIL-HDBK-217F N2, ANSI/VITA Telecordia, MIL-HDBK-338B).Ability to adopt the proper communication attitude to be effective depending on the audience and context.Knowledge of English language (at least intermediate level).PreferredFamiliarity with requirements management tools (preferred IBM Rational DOORS).Knowledge of Inertial Navigation Systems.Target-oriented with analytic problem-solving skill.Benefits and PerksFree lunch meal, coffee bar, additional health insurance#J-18808-Ljbffr
